The department intends to see increased financial resources to combat the Human Resources for Health shortage, equitable distribution of health workers and their adherence to professional ethics.
The department conducts gender-sensitive researches on Human Resource for Health financing, training, recruitment, distribution, retention and adherence to ethics.
The same department conducts capacity building sessionsto citizens on community monitoring of service delivery and how citizens can constructively engage in public dialogue with service providers.
The department also conducts consultative sessions with health service providers, policy markers,local government officials and Members of Parliament. At national level, we coordinate with other actors through the Human Resources for Health Technical Working Group.
